मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-4, verse-42

तां विवर्जयतस्तस्य रजसा समभिप्लुताम ।
प्रज्ञा तेजो बलं चक्षुरायुश्चैव प्रवर्धते ॥४२॥
42. tāṁ vivarjayatastasya rajasā samabhiplutām ,
prajñā tejo balaṁ cakṣurāyuścaiva pravardhate.

42. For him who avoids her, afflicted by menstrual impurity, his intellect (prajñā), vitality (tejas), strength (balam), vision (cakṣuḥ), and lifespan (āyuḥ) increase.
