मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-7, verse-82

आवृत्तानां गुरुकुलाद विप्राणां पूजको भवेत ।
नृपाणामक्षयो ह्येष निधिर्ब्राह्मोऽभिधीयते ॥८२॥
82. āvṛttānāṁ gurukulād viprāṇāṁ pūjako bhavet ,
nṛpāṇāmakṣayo hyeṣa nidhirbrāhmo'bhidhīyate.
82. āvṛttānām gurukulād viprāṇām pūjako bhavet
nṛpāṇām akṣayaḥ hi eṣa nidhir brāhmo 'bhidhīyate
82. He should honor the Brahmins who have returned from the teacher's (guru's) residential school. This is an inexhaustible treasury for kings, known as the Brahmana's wealth.
