मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-7, verse-30

सोऽसहायेन मूढेन लुब्धेनाकृतबुद्धिना ।
न शक्यो न्यायतो नेतुं सक्तेन विषयेषु च ॥३०॥
30. so'sahāyena mūḍhena lubdhenākṛtabuddhinā ,
na śakyo nyāyato netuṁ saktena viṣayeṣu ca.
30. saḥ asahāyena mūḍhena lubdhena ākṛtabuddhinā
| na śakyaḥ nyāyataḥ netuṃ sakténa viṣayéṣu ca
30. He, when unsupported, foolish, greedy, and unintelligent, and attached to sensual pleasures, cannot be led to justice.
