मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-7, verse-166

क्षीणस्य चैव क्रमशो दैवात पूर्वकृतेन वा ।
मित्रस्य चानुरोधेन द्विविधं स्मृतमासनम ॥१६६॥
166. kṣīṇasya caiva kramaśo daivāt pūrvakṛtena vā ,
mitrasya cānurodhena dvividhaṁ smṛtamāsanam.

166. Stability (āsana), when remembered (smṛta), is of two types: that which is due to being weakened, either by fate or by past actions, and that which is due to the compliance of a friend.
