He is the son of Sarvaparśva, Tārkṣya, the foundation of universal natural law (dharma), and the most excellent one. His self (ātman) encompasses all moving and unmoving beings and is subtle; he is the generous bestower of blessings, and the lord of enlightened speech and righteous principles.
