77.
When Mercury, the son of the Moon (śaśāṅkaputra), is situated in the ascendant (januraṅgageha), the person will be endowed with a multitude of good qualities. If Mercury is aspected by or conjoined with malefic planets, the person will be poor. However, if Mercury is in a beneficial or auspicious state, the person will be happy and prosperous with wealth.
