बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-45, verse-71

आगमे भवति भूमिजे जनो धर्मकर्मरहितो गदातुरः ।
कर्णमूलगुरुशूलरोगवानेव कातरमतिः कुसङ्गमी ॥७१॥
71. āgame bhavati bhūmije jano dharmakarmarahito gadāturaḥ .

71. When Mars (bhūmija) is present, a person becomes devoid of actions in accordance with natural law (dharma) and duty (karma), afflicted by disease, indeed suffering from severe pain at the root of the ear, timid-minded, and keeps bad company.
