बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-45, verse-2

अवस्था विविधाः सन्ति ग्रहाणां दिवजसत्तम ।
सारभूताश्च यास्तासु बालाद्यास्ता वदाम्यहम् ॥२॥
2. avasthā vividhāḥ santi grahāṇāṃ divajasattama .
sārabhūtāśca yāstāsu bālādyāstā vadāmyaham.
2. avasthāḥ vividhāḥ santi grahāṇām dvijasattama
sārabhūtāḥ ca yāḥ tāsu bālādyāḥ tāḥ vadāmi aham
2. O best among the twice-born (dvijasattama), planets have various states (avasthā). Among those that are essential, I will now describe the ones beginning with bāla (childhood).
