रोगार्दितो मन्दमतिर्विशेषाद्वित्तेन हीनो मनुजः कठोरः ।
अकार्यकारी परवित्तहारी क्षपाकरे चेदुपवेशनस्थे ॥५३॥

53. If the Moon is in the `upaveśana` (sitting) state, the person will be afflicted by disease, dull-witted, especially devoid of wealth, cruel, one who does improper deeds, and a thief of others' wealth.
