महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-24, verse-88

दुश्च्यावश्च्यावनो जेता हन्ता ब्रह्मद्विषां हरः ।
नित्यं त्राता च हन्ता च धर्माधर्माश्रिताञ्जनान् ॥८८॥
88. duścyāvaścyāvano jetā hantā brahmadviṣāṁ haraḥ ,
nityaṁ trātā ca hantā ca dharmādharmāśritāñjanān.

88. Hara (Shiva) is the unshakeable yet the shaker, the conqueror, and the slayer of those hostile to Brahman. He is perpetually both the protector and the destroyer of beings who are entangled with both natural law (dharma) and its opposite (adharma).
