महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-24, verse-10

अस्माकं त्वं वरं देव प्रयच्छेमं पितामह ।
वयं पुराणि त्रीण्येव समास्थाय महीमिमाम् ।
विचरिष्याम लोकेऽस्मिंस्त्वत्प्रसादपुरस्कृताः ॥१०॥
10. asmākaṁ tvaṁ varaṁ deva prayacchemaṁ pitāmaha ,
vayaṁ purāṇi trīṇyeva samāsthāya mahīmimām ,
vicariṣyāma loke'smiṁstvatprasādapuraskṛtāḥ.
10. asmākam tvam varam deva prayaccha
imam pitāmaha vayam purāṇi trīṇi
eva samāsthāya mahīm imām vicariṣyāma
loke asmin tvatprasādapuraskṛtāḥ
10. deva pitāmaha tvam asmākam imam
varam prayaccha vayam imām mahīm trīṇi
eva purāṇi samāsthāya asmin loke

10. O divine grandfather (pitāmaha), grant us this boon! We, having established ourselves in these three cities, shall wander this earth, empowered by your grace.
