महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-24, verse-158

वृजिनं हि भवेत्किंचिद्यदि कर्णस्य पार्थिव ।
नास्मै ह्यस्त्राणि दिव्यानि प्रादास्यद्भृगुनन्दनः ॥१५८॥
158. vṛjinaṁ hi bhavetkiṁcidyadi karṇasya pārthiva ,
nāsmai hyastrāṇi divyāni prādāsyadbhṛgunandanaḥ.

158. O King, if there had indeed been any fault in Karna, surely the son of Bhṛgu (Paraśurāma) would not have bestowed divine weapons upon him.
