महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-24, verse-142

एतस्मिन्नेव काले तु दैत्या आसन्महाबलाः ।
तैस्तदा दर्पमोहान्धैरबाध्यन्त दिवौकसः ॥१४२॥
142. etasminneva kāle tu daityā āsanmahābalāḥ ,
taistadā darpamohāndhairabādhyanta divaukasaḥ.

142. At that very time, there were extremely powerful demons. Blinded by arrogance and delusion, they then tormented the inhabitants of heaven (divaukasaḥ).
