महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-24, verse-115

अथाधिज्यं धनुः कृत्वा शर्वः संधाय तं शरम् ।
युक्त्वा पाशुपतास्त्रेण त्रिपुरं समचिन्तयत् ॥११५॥
115. athādhijyaṁ dhanuḥ kṛtvā śarvaḥ saṁdhāya taṁ śaram ,
yuktvā pāśupatāstreṇa tripuraṁ samacintayat.
115. atha adhijyam dhanuḥ kṛtvā śarvaḥ saṃdhāya tam
śaram yuktvā pāśupatāstreṇa tripuram samacintayat
115. atha śarvaḥ dhanuḥ adhijyam kṛtvā,
tam śaram saṃdhāya,
pāśupatāstreṇa yuktvā,
tripuram samacintayat.
115. Then Shiva, having strung his bow, placed that arrow and empowered it with the Pāśupata missile, and thus contemplated the triple city.
