महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-24, verse-137

यदा जानासि देवेश पात्रं मामस्त्रधारणे ।
तदा शुश्रूषतेऽस्त्राणि भवान्मे दातुमर्हति ॥१३७॥
137. yadā jānāsi deveśa pātraṁ māmastradhāraṇe ,
tadā śuśrūṣate'strāṇi bhavānme dātumarhati.
137. yada jānāsi deveśa pātraṃ mām astradhāraṇe |
tada śuśrūṣate astrāṇi bhavān me dātum arhati
137. deveśa yada bhavān mām astradhāraṇe pātraṃ
jānāsi tada me astrāṇi dātum śuśrūṣate arhati
137. When you, O lord of gods, recognize me as worthy of bearing arms, then you should kindly grant me those weapons, attending to my request.
