महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-24, verse-135

दास्यामि ते तदास्त्राणि यदा पूतो भविष्यसि ।
अपात्रमसमर्थं च दहन्त्यस्त्राणि भार्गव ॥१३५॥
135. dāsyāmi te tadāstrāṇi yadā pūto bhaviṣyasi ,
apātramasamarthaṁ ca dahantyastrāṇi bhārgava.
135. dāsyāmi te tadā astrāṇi yadā pūtaḥ bhaviṣyasi
apātram asamartham ca dahanti astrāṇi bhārgava
135. dāsyāmi te tadā astrāṇi yadā pūtaḥ bhaviṣyasi
bhārgava astrāṇi apātram asamartham ca dahanti
135. I will give you the divine weapons then, when you become purified. For these weapons burn those who are unworthy and incapable, O Bhargava.
