महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-164, verse-98

यद्यर्धदिवसं द्रोणो युध्यते मन्युमास्थितः ।
सत्यं ब्रवीमि ते सेना विनाशं समुपैष्यति ॥९८॥
98. yadyardhadivasaṁ droṇo yudhyate manyumāsthitaḥ ,
satyaṁ bravīmi te senā vināśaṁ samupaiṣyati.
98. yadi ardhadivasaṃ droṇaḥ yudhyate manyum āsthitaḥ
satyaṃ bravīmi te senā vināśaṃ samupaiṣyati
98. yadi droṇaḥ ardhadivasaṃ manyum āsthitaḥ yudhyate,
(tadā) te senā vināśaṃ samupaiṣyati,
(aham) satyaṃ bravīmi.
98. If Droṇa fights for even half a day, enraged, I tell you truly, your army will face destruction.
