महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-164, verse-52

जित्वा च बहुभिर्यज्ञैर्यक्ष्यध्वं भूरिदक्षिणैः ।
हता वा देवसाद्भूत्वा लोकान्प्राप्स्यथ पुष्कलान् ॥५२॥
52. jitvā ca bahubhiryajñairyakṣyadhvaṁ bhūridakṣiṇaiḥ ,
hatā vā devasādbhūtvā lokānprāpsyatha puṣkalān.
52. jitvā ca bahubhiḥ yajñaiḥ yakṣyadhvam bhūridakṣiṇaiḥ
hatāḥ vā devasāt bhūtvā lokān prāpsyatha puṣkalān
52. jitvā ca bhūridakṣiṇaiḥ bahubhiḥ yajñaiḥ yakṣyadhvam
vā hatāḥ devasāt bhūtvā puṣkalān lokān prāpsyatha
52. And having conquered, you will perform many sacrificial rites (yajña) accompanied by abundant gifts. Or, if slain, becoming equal to the gods, you will attain abundant realms.
