महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-164, verse-106

तमतथ्यभये मग्नो जये सक्तो युधिष्ठिरः ।
अव्यक्तमब्रवीद्राजन्हतः कुञ्जर इत्युत ॥१०६॥
106. tamatathyabhaye magno jaye sakto yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ,
avyaktamabravīdrājanhataḥ kuñjara ityuta.

avyaktam abravīt rājan hataḥ kuñjaraḥ iti uta
106. rājan yudhiṣṭhiraḥ atathyabhaye magnaḥ jaye saktaḥ

106. O King, Yudhishthira, although immersed in the fear of untruth, yet strongly intent on victory, indistinctly said to him (Drona), 'killed, an elephant' (such was the statement).
