महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-164, verse-75

शङ्कमानः स तन्मिथ्या वीर्यज्ञः स्वसुतस्य वै ।
हतः स इति च श्रुत्वा नैव धैर्यादकम्पत ॥७५॥

75. śaṅkamānaḥ sa tanmithyā vīryajñaḥ svasutasya vai ,
hataḥ sa iti ca śrutvā naiva dhairyādakampata.

75. He, knowing the valor of his own son, suspected that it was indeed false. And even upon hearing 'he is killed', he did not waver from his steadfastness (dhairya) at all.
