महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-164, verse-86

क्षत्रियाणामभावाय दृष्ट्वा द्रोणमवस्थितम् ।
ऋषयोऽभ्यागमंस्तूर्णं हव्यवाहपुरोगमाः ॥८६॥
86. kṣatriyāṇāmabhāvāya dṛṣṭvā droṇamavasthitam ,
ṛṣayo'bhyāgamaṁstūrṇaṁ havyavāhapurogamāḥ.
