महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-164, verse-90

न्यस्यायुधं रणे द्रोण समेत्यास्मानवस्थितान् ।
नातः क्रूरतरं कर्म पुनः कर्तुं त्वमर्हसि ॥९०॥
90. nyasyāyudhaṁ raṇe droṇa sametyāsmānavasthitān ,
nātaḥ krūrataraṁ karma punaḥ kartuṁ tvamarhasi.
90. nyasya āyudham raṇe droṇa sametya asmān avasthitān
na ataḥ krūrataram karma punaḥ kartum tvam arhasi
90. droṇa tvam raṇe āyudham nyasya asmān avasthitān
sametya ataḥ krūrataram karma punaḥ kartum na arhasi
90. O Drona, having laid down your weapons in battle and approached us who stand here, you should not commit a deed (karma) crueler than this again.
