Asaṃśayam pāñcālyaḥ tathābhūte (sati),
ācāryamukhyasya mahātmanaḥ vadham prāptakālam sādhvamanyata.

Without a doubt, in that state of affairs, the Pañcāla prince (Dhṛṣṭadyumna) considered the killing of the chief of preceptors (guru), the great-souled one, to be timely and appropriate.
