महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-10, chapter-8, verse-92

गजा गजानतिक्रम्य निर्मनुष्या हया हयान् ।
अताडयंस्तथाभञ्जंस्तथामृद्नंश्च भारत ॥९२॥
92. gajā gajānatikramya nirmanuṣyā hayā hayān ,
atāḍayaṁstathābhañjaṁstathāmṛdnaṁśca bhārata.

atāḍayan tathā abhañjan tathā amṛdnan ca bhārata
92. bhārata gajāḥ gajān atikramya,

92. O Bhārata, the elephants trampled other elephants, and the riderless horses trampled other horses. They struck them, broke them, and crushed them.
