धृतराष्ट्र उवाच ।
प्रागेव सुमहत्कर्म द्रौणिरेतन्महारथः ।
नाकरोदीदृशं कस्मान्मत्पुत्रविजये धृतः ॥१४४॥

144. dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca ,
prāgeva sumahatkarma drauṇiretanmahārathaḥ ,
nākarodīdṛśaṁ kasmānmatputravijaye dhṛtaḥ.
