महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-10, chapter-8, verse-147

सात्यकेश्चापि कर्मेदं द्रोणपुत्रेण साधितम् ।
न हि तेषां समक्षं तान्हन्यादपि मरुत्पतिः ॥१४७॥
147. sātyakeścāpi karmedaṁ droṇaputreṇa sādhitam ,
na hi teṣāṁ samakṣaṁ tānhanyādapi marutpatiḥ.
147. sātyakeḥ ca api karma idam droṇaputreṇa sādhitam
na hi teṣām samakṣam tān hanyāt api marutpatiḥ
147. ca api idam karma droṇaputreṇa sātyakeḥ sādhitam
hi teṣām samakṣam api marutpatiḥ tān na hanyāt
147. And this very deed (karma) was accomplished by Drona's son even in Sātyaki's absence. For indeed, not even the lord of the Maruts (Indra) would kill them in their presence.
