महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-10, chapter-8, verse-34

युधामन्युस्तु संप्राप्तो मत्त्वा तं रक्षसा हतम् ।
गदामुद्यम्य वेगेन हृदि द्रौणिमताडयत् ॥३४॥
34. yudhāmanyustu saṁprāpto mattvā taṁ rakṣasā hatam ,
gadāmudyamya vegena hṛdi drauṇimatāḍayat.

hatam gadām udyamya vegena hṛdi drauṇim atāḍayat

34. But Yudhamanyu, having arrived and thinking that (the fallen warrior) had been killed by a demon (rakṣas), quickly raised his mace and struck Droṇi's son (Drauṇi) on the chest.
