महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-10, chapter-8, verse-71

सोऽच्छिनत्कस्यचित्पादौ जघनं चैव कस्यचित् ।
कांश्चिद्बिभेद पार्श्वेषु कालसृष्ट इवान्तकः ॥७१॥
71. so'cchinatkasyacitpādau jaghanaṁ caiva kasyacit ,
kāṁścidbibheda pārśveṣu kālasṛṣṭa ivāntakaḥ.
71. saḥ acchinat kasyacit pādau jaghanam ca eva kasyacit
kāṃścit bibheda pārśveṣu kāla sṛṣṭaḥ iva antakaḥ
71. saḥ kasyacit pādau acchinat,
kasyacit jaghanam ca eva [acchinat],
kāṃścit pārśveṣu bibheda,
kāla sṛṣṭaḥ antakaḥ iva [āsīt]
71. He cut off someone's feet, and someone else's hip, and he pierced some in their sides, like Death (antaka) created by time.
