महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-10, chapter-8, verse-114

यक्षरक्षःसमाकीर्णे रथाश्वद्विपदारुणे ।
क्रुद्धेन द्रोणपुत्रेण संछिन्नाः प्रापतन्भुवि ॥११४॥
114. yakṣarakṣaḥsamākīrṇe rathāśvadvipadāruṇe ,
kruddhena droṇaputreṇa saṁchinnāḥ prāpatanbhuvi.

114. On that field, which was made terrifying by chariots, horses, and elephants, and filled with Yakṣas and Rākṣasas [who feast on the dead], [warriors], cut down by the enraged son of Droṇa, fell to the ground.
