महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-10, chapter-8, verse-113

किंचित्प्राणैश्च पुरुषैर्हतैश्चान्यैः सहस्रशः ।
बहुना च गजाश्वेन भूरभूद्भीमदर्शना ॥११३॥
113. kiṁcitprāṇaiśca puruṣairhataiścānyaiḥ sahasraśaḥ ,
bahunā ca gajāśvena bhūrabhūdbhīmadarśanā.

| bahunā ca gajāśvena bhūḥ abhūt bhīmadarśanā
113. bhūḥ kiñcit prāṇaiḥ ca puruṣaiḥ ca anyaiḥ sahasraśaḥ hataiḥ ca bahunā gajāśvena bhīmadarśanā abhūt.
113. With many lives [lost], and by thousands of slain men (puruṣa) and others, and with numerous elephants and horses, the earth became a terrifying sight.
