महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-10, chapter-8, verse-138

यथाप्रतिज्ञं तत्कर्म कृत्वा द्रौणायनिः प्रभो ।
दुर्गमां पदवीं कृत्वा पितुरासीद्गतज्वरः ॥१३८॥
138. yathāpratijñaṁ tatkarma kṛtvā drauṇāyaniḥ prabho ,
durgamāṁ padavīṁ kṛtvā piturāsīdgatajvaraḥ.

138. O lord (prabho), the son of Droṇa (Drauṇāyaniḥ), having performed that deed as promised, and having secured an inaccessible path to heaven for his father, became free from distress.
