मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-3, verse-281

अनेन विधिना श्राद्धं त्रिरब्दस्यैह निर्वपेत ।
हेमन्तग्रीष्मवर्षासु पाञ्चयज्ञिकमन्वहम ॥२८१॥

281. By this method, one should perform the śrāddha (rites for ancestors) three times a year. The pañcayajñika (five daily Vedic rituals) should be performed daily during winter, summer, and the rainy season.
