But for a twice-born (dvijateḥ) who has passed away (saṃsthitasyatu) after having performed the rituals of shared lineage (āsapiṇḍakriyākarma), one should feed (bhojayet) the śrāddha (śrāddhaṃ) which is not a deva ritual (adaivaṃ), and offer (nirvapet) one pinda (piṇḍam ekaṃ cha).
