मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-3, verse-113

इतरानपि सख्यादीन सम्प्रीत्या गृहमागतान ।
प्रकृत्यान्नं यथाशक्ति भोजयेत सह भार्यया ॥११३॥
113. itarānapi sakhyādīn samprītyā gṛhamāgatān ,
prakṛtyānnaṁ yathāśakti bhojayet saha bhāryayā.

113. With his wife, one should lovingly feed other guests, including friends who have arrived at the home, providing simple food according to one's means.
