मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-3, verse-275

यद यद ददाति विधिवत सम्यक श्रद्धासमन्वितः ।
तत तत पितॄणां भवति परत्रानन्तमक्षयम ॥२७५॥
275. yad yad dadāti vidhivat samyak śraddhāsamanvitaḥ ,
tat tat pitṝṇāṁ bhavati paratrānantamakṣayam.

tat tat pitṛṇām bhavati paratra anantam akṣayam
275. Whatever one gives properly with faith, all that becomes infinite and imperishable for the ancestors in the world beyond.
