मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-3, verse-173

भ्रातुर्मृतस्य भार्यायां योऽनुरज्येत कामतः ।
धर्मेणापि नियुक्तायां स ज्ञेयो दिधिषूपतिः ॥१७३॥
173. bhrāturmṛtasya bhāryāyāṁ yo'nurajyeta kāmataḥ ,
dharmeṇāpi niyuktāyāṁ sa jñeyo didhiṣūpatiḥ.

| dharmena api niyuktāyām saḥ jñeyaḥ didhiṣūpatiḥ

173. He who is aroused by lust towards the wife of his deceased brother, even when appointed by the law (dharma), should be known as a 'didhishupati' (a man who desires to marry his brother's childless widow).
