मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-3, verse-259

दातारो नोऽभिवर्धन्तां वेदाः संततिरेव च ।
श्रद्धा च नो मा व्यगमद बहुदेयं च नोऽस्त्विति ॥२५९॥
259. dātāro no'bhivardhantāṁ vedāḥ saṁtatireva ca ,
śraddhā ca no mā vyagamad bahudeyaṁ ca no'stviti.

śraddhā ca no mā vyagamad bahudeyaṃ ca no'stv iti
259. iti dātāro no'bhivardhantām vedāḥ ca saṃtatiḥ eva

259. May our givers increase, and the Vedas, and our lineage! May our faith never depart, and may we have much to give! (This is what they said).
