मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-3, verse-170

अव्रतैर्यद द्विजैर्भुक्तं परिवेत्र्यादिभिस्तथा ।
अपाङ्क्तेयैर्यदन्यैश्च तद वै रक्षांसि भुञ्जते ॥१७०॥
170. avratairyad dvijairbhuktaṁ parivetryādibhistathā ,
apāṅkteyairyadanyaiśca tad vai rakṣāṁsi bhuñjate.

apāṅkteyair yad anyaiś ca tad vai rakṣāṁsi bhuñjate
170. yat dvijaiḥ avratayaiḥ parivetryādibhiḥ tathā anyaiḥ

170. Whatever is eaten by those who do not perform their duties (avrata) like Brahmins (dvijaiḥ), or by those who should not be served (parivetryādi), or by others who are ineligible (apāṅkteya), demons (rakṣāṁsi) indeed eat that.
