But when the rituals of shared lineage (sahapiṇḍakriyāyāṃ tu) have been performed (kṛtāyāmasya) according to dharma (dharmataḥ), the offering of pinda (piṇḍanirvapanaṃ) should be done (kāryaṃ) by the sons (sutaiḥ) in the same manner (anayivāvṛtā).
