मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-3, verse-225

उभयोर्हस्तयोर्मुक्तं यदन्नमुपनीयते ।
तद विप्रलुम्पन्त्यसुराः सहसा दुष्टचेतसः ॥२२५॥
225. ubhayorhastayormuktaṁ yadannamupanīyate ,
tad vipralumpantyasurāḥ sahasā duṣṭacetasaḥ.
225. ubhayohastayoḥ muktaṃ yad annam upanīyate
tad vipralumpanty asurāḥ sahasā duṣṭacetasaḥ
225. yad annam ubhayohastayoḥ muktaṃ upanīyate
tad asurāḥ duṣṭacetasaḥ sahasā vipralumpanti
225. Whatever food is offered with both hands (simultaneously) is snatched away by the demons (asuras) with force, those whose minds are wicked.
