पूजितं ह्यशनं नित्यं बलमूर्जं च यच्छति ।
अपूजितं तु तद भुक्तमुभयं नाशयेदिदम ॥५५॥

55. pūjitaṁ hyaśanaṁ nityaṁ balamūrjaṁ ca yacchati ,
apūjitaṁ tu tad bhuktamubhayaṁ nāśayedidam.

Indeed, food that is always honored bestows strength and vitality. However, that which is consumed without honor destroys both of these (strength and vitality).
