यो दण्डो यत्च वसनं तत तदस्य व्रतेष्वपि ॥१७४॥

Whatever hide is prescribed for him, whatever sacred thread, and whatever girdle; whatever staff and whatever garment—all these are also to be used for his vows and observances.
