मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-2, verse-40

नैतैरपूतैर्विधिवदापद्यपि हि कर्हि चित ।
ब्राह्मान यौनांश्च संबन्धान्नाचरेद ब्राह्मणः सह ॥४०॥
40. naitairapūtairvidhivadāpadyapi hi karhi cit ,
brāhmān yaunāṁśca saṁbandhānnācared brāhmaṇaḥ saha.
40. na etaiḥ apūtaiḥ vidhivat āpadi api hi karhi cit
brāhmān yaunān ca saṃbandhān na ācaret brāhmaṇaḥ saha
40. brāhmaṇaḥ etaiḥ apūtaiḥ saha āpadi api karhi cit
hi brāhmān ca yaunān saṃbandhān vidhivat na ācaret
40. A brahmin should never, even in times of distress, properly establish either matrimonial or other brahminical connections with these unpurified individuals.
