मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-2, verse-195

प्रतिश्रावणसंभाषे शयानो न समाचरेत ।
नासीनो न च भुञ्जानो न तिष्ठन्न पराङ्मुखः ॥१९५॥
195. pratiśrāvaṇasaṁbhāṣe śayāno na samācaret ,
nāsīno na ca bhuñjāno na tiṣṭhanna parāṅmukhaḥ.

195. One should not respond or speak while lying down. Nor should one do so while sitting, while eating, while standing, or with one's back turned.
