महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-82, verse-70

मार्कण्डेयस्य राजेन्द्र तीर्थमासाद्य दुर्लभम् ।
गोमतीगङ्गयोश्चैव संगमे लोकविश्रुते ।
अग्निष्टोममवाप्नोति कुलं चैव समुद्धरेत् ॥७०॥
70. mārkaṇḍeyasya rājendra tīrthamāsādya durlabham ,
gomatīgaṅgayoścaiva saṁgame lokaviśrute ,
agniṣṭomamavāpnoti kulaṁ caiva samuddharet.
