महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-82, verse-58

गङ्गोद्भेदं समासाद्य त्रिरात्रोपोषितो नरः ।
वाजपेयमवाप्नोति ब्रह्मभूतश्च जायते ॥५८॥
58. gaṅgodbhedaṁ samāsādya trirātropoṣito naraḥ ,
vājapeyamavāpnoti brahmabhūtaśca jāyate.

vājapeyam avāpnoti brahmabhūtaḥ ca jāyate
58. A person who approaches the source of the Gaṅgā and fasts for three nights attains the benefit of the Vājapeya (yajña) and becomes one with the Absolute Reality (brahman).
