महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-82, verse-114

ततो गच्छेत धर्मज्ञ चम्पकारण्यमुत्तमम् ।
तत्रोष्य रजनीमेकां गोसहस्रफलं लभेत् ॥११४॥
114. tato gaccheta dharmajña campakāraṇyamuttamam ,
tatroṣya rajanīmekāṁ gosahasraphalaṁ labhet.
114. tataḥ gaccheta dharmajña campakāraṇyam uttamam
tatra uṣya rajanīm ekām gosahasraphalam labhet
114. Then, O knower of natural law (dharma), one should go to the excellent Champaka forest. Staying there for a single night, one would obtain the merit (phalam) of donating a thousand cows.
