महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-82, verse-117

कन्यासंवेद्यमासाद्य नियतो नियताशनः ।
मनोः प्रजापतेर्लोकानाप्नोति भरतर्षभ ॥११७॥
117. kanyāsaṁvedyamāsādya niyato niyatāśanaḥ ,
manoḥ prajāpaterlokānāpnoti bharatarṣabha.
117. kanyāsaṃvedyam āsādya niyataḥ niyatāśanaḥ
manoḥ prajāpateḥ lokān āpnoti bharatarṣabha
117. Having reached Kanyāsaṃvedya, being disciplined and having restrained one's diet, O best of the Bharatas (bharatarṣabha), one attains the worlds of Manu, the progenitor (prajāpati).
