महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-82, verse-125

सर्वतीर्थवरे चैव यो वसेत महाह्रदे ।
न दुर्गतिमवाप्नोति विन्देद्बहु सुवर्णकम् ॥१२५॥
125. sarvatīrthavare caiva yo vaseta mahāhrade ,
na durgatimavāpnoti vindedbahu suvarṇakam.
125. sarvatīrthavare ca eva yaḥ vaseta mahāhrade
na durgatim avāpnoti vindet bahu suvarṇakam
125. And whoever dwells in that great lake, the best of all holy places (tīrthas), does not attain a bad fate (durgati) but obtains much gold.
