महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-82, verse-106

ततो गच्छेत राजेन्द्र स्थानं नारायणस्य तु ।
सदा संनिहितो यत्र हरिर्वसति भारत ।
शालग्राम इति ख्यातो विष्णोरद्भुतकर्मणः ॥१०६॥
106. tato gaccheta rājendra sthānaṁ nārāyaṇasya tu ,
sadā saṁnihito yatra harirvasati bhārata ,
śālagrāma iti khyāto viṣṇoradbhutakarmaṇaḥ.
106. tataḥ gaccheta rājendra sthānam
nārāyaṇasya tu sadā saṃnihitaḥ yatra
hariḥ vasati bhārata śālagrāma
iti khyātaḥ viṣṇoḥ adbhutakarmaṇaḥ
106. O king of kings, you should then go to the abode of Nārāyaṇa. O Bhārata, it is there that Hari, the divine being (puruṣa) of wondrous deeds, is always present and is known as Śālagrāma.
